Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Cranston

Lovely place to meet for lunch. Great menu choices. Service was excellent. Was able to linger after lunch and not feel rushed.

Nick should be proud that his name is tied to this business. Felt like the restaurant’s goal is simultaneously food AND service. All staff were committed to the experience—enthusiastic about seating, serving, and boasting about the dishes we’d ordered (and thoroughly enjoyed). Well done, Nick’s, and prospective patrons….go to Nick’s!!

4 of us did the 5-course tasting menu with classic wine pairings. The meal, service and atmosphere were outstanding. The food and wine pairings were excellent. Even the valet service was exceptional (it was very cold and when our car arrived back at the front door, the steering wheel heater and seat heaters had been turned on for us and there were two sleeves of Gracie's cookies in the cup holder. Holy smokes, who thinks of this stuff?! That was indicative of the level of planning and care they put into every aspect of our meal. Look, with cocktails and tip, the meal came to about $900 for 4 of us. That's not inexpensive, but it's in line with other high-end tasting menu dinner's we've had.

Service was good. Food was good. Atmosphere nice. A little chilly inside. Wanted to keep my coat on. Would probably go back again as there were many gluten free options. Chicken parm and pasta very good.

The food here is of excellent quality. We have been several times and always very much impressed with the food! The atmosphere is very pretty and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. They also have a very nice music playlist in the background. I still gave this a very high rating because of how much I love the food and atmosphere. However, I’m sad to say we were rushed (just on this particular visit) through our entire meal. From the moment we sat down (even though we were exactly on time for our reservation) you could just tell we had to “hurry”. I’ve never had that experience here so we are assuming it was the waiter. When we asked to get a second drink, our waiter told us we had 15 minutes total remaining (we were catching up with a friend we hadn’t seen and went there to take our time and feel relaxed). At that point, we just asked for the check because that isn’t enough time to enjoy a drink once receiving it. Other than being rushed by this waiter throughout our entire meal, the place is always phenomenal.
