Located in Lexington’s Historical district, Akame Nigiri and Sake offers an un-traditional Omakase experience. Akame Nigiri and Sake will be offering a 15 Course Omakase for $180 per person. The Omakase focuses on Japanese Seafood flown in directly from Toyosu fish market. While seated at our 6 seat Omakase Bar, guest will be able to enjoy a semi-private Omakase experience skillfully crafted by Chef Michael Monaco. Seatings are held Thursday at 6:15, Friday and Saturday at 6:15pm and 8:30pm. All Allergies and food aversions must be communicated 72 hours in advance, so we have time to make adequate changes. Due to the nature of the meal, touch sensitive Shellfish and Crustaceans Allergies cannot be accommodated.

    Omakase style (chef decides the food.) The chef was very good in explaining everything that he served us. I was a little apprehensive about eating raw fish, but I bit the bullet and dug in! My husband and son loved it. The chef was also aware that I have a strong dislike for certain spices, so he was very considerate and tailored my sushi pieces to my liking. We also had a bit of Wagyu beef and that was outstanding. I also loved the dessert at the end - matcha mochiko taiyaki with black sesame cream.

    The staff was great and friendly. The food was excellent and seasoned to perfection. Flavors of each dish were well balanced and enhanced with fresh herbs. Love the new menu. Scallops were 10/10. Great way to spend an anniversary.

    Ky was our waiter and he was extremely attentive and patient with us. We come often so it’s been nice getting to know the staff. I recommend the green tea ice cream. Again major props to Ky, he was awesome.
