Heritage is family owned and operated by Chef Philip Pretty and sister Lauren Pretty. Our lively indoor dining room was built in 1922 as a craftsman house. Walk inside to an open kitchen, request bar seating to watch us cook over a live fire Santa Maria grill. Located in the Rose Park neighborhood of Long Beach on the corner of 7th & Saint Louis Ave. Heritage Restaurant uses sustainable meat & seafood, and Farmer's Market produce. Growing our own produce at Heritage Farm right up the street. Certified blue, green, and maintain a zero-waste kitchen. One red and green star Michelin awarded. We serve a tasting menu only. The Attic, an iconic Long Beach staple, was established in 2012 by owner Steve Massis. Situated within an eclectic 1920's craftsman style home. Dining in, is reminiscent of enjoying Sunday supper with family and friends.Inspired by a desire to evolve and further elevate the existing concept, the Attic underwent some exciting changes in the last year. With the guidance and imagination of local designer, Tara Rigi, the interior and exterior were restored to accentuate the craftsman's iconic beauty.The most significant change came in the form of our new chef, Cameron Slaugh, who joined our team near the beginning of 2020. As a newcomer to Long Beach, he finds inspiration from local, seasonal ingredients, and draws on his early beginnings of growing up on a farm. All of which he uses to constantly reimagine our menu, marrying New American cuisine with southern traditions.

    Delightful atmosphere. Quaint and quiet but as people arrived it got louder but not too loud. Food was tasty and a good proportion. Great sharing place. Service was great. Very much enjoyed the experience

    Our first visit and it was lovely . Calm, hospitable , friendly and delicious clean fresh yummy food ! The staff are kind and knowledgeable and sent a little champagne as it was our anniversary :) We’re ready to come back and want to try all the small plates !

    All the staff were amazing - especially Fred. Food was good quality - we did the breakfast buffet and ordered off the menu. Solid portions, flavorful, and not over seasoned. Coffee and water refilled promptly. We wanted toast with our buffet and they brought it out separately when we noticed it wasn’t on the buffet line. Nice seating areas. Quiet even though other tables were full.
