Best Live Music Restaurants in Holborn

I went there with some friends and we sat outside having drinks and tapas. The music and atmosphere were brilliant and the staff there were fantastic, ensuring we were well looked after and really made our overall experience. A fantastic spot with great views of London, will definitely be back again!

Booked a table for 17.00, as we were going to a show, so staff weren’t exactly busy, but a lot of staff in the restaurant, so can only assume the service would be good. It was our 40th wedding anniversary, the restaurant gave us a complementary glass of champagne. The menu was superb, couldn’t make my mind up. The food was fantastic, really enjoyed it all. Large portions, we had Turbot and cod for mains, both very fresh. Would recommend Penelope’s to anyone who likes good food, cooked and served well, at a reasonable price.

Arrived a little early, we were shown to our table straight away. Lovely venue. Food was excellent and the service was very attentive. Then afternoon tea began, service became mediocre. We ended up going to the bar to pay our bill, which was not ideal.

Perfect place before theater. Staff was wonderful and attentive. Food was great. You can’t go wrong.

We had an amazing time at the Holborn Dining Room. We tried the pies - lamb and chicken, crab tart, oysters, prawns, and the rib eye and all were wonderful. Service was top-notch and the beautiful interior set the mood for the evening.
