Best Restaurants with a Vibrant Bar Scene in Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness

My wife and I enjoyed our time there. We were not fond of the automatic 21% gratuity. On top of the 21% automatic gratuity they continued to solicit more gratuity, which on top of the $15-$20 ticket, the $20 minimum each person mandate seemed a bit excessive. Besides that we had a wonderful experience.

Truly an amazing experience. Every single thing was so delicious and decadent. The drinks were original and well crafted. Can’t wait to go back.

Loved the food and atmosphere- thought the mocktails were over priced! And some of the food seemed a bit expensive as well.

Food was good without real distinction. black truffle arancini, duck carbonara, prawn appetizer all tasty more than refined and distinct. A good place for a good meal and friendly ambiance with at least one terrific waiter, probably more.

This was our 2nd time dining with this restaurant in addition to holding our company board dinner in their beautiful private room. I just love coming here since they offer delicious food/cocktails, attentive service and a quiet, sophisticated ambience. I’m just surprised they aren’t busy. Literally, every dish we’ve tried is absolutely amazing!
