Best Restaurants with a Vibrant Bar Scene in Fountain Square

Dined here before the Pacers- Knicks game (Pacers win!) and requested a seat in the bar. Great table by the window for people watching. Our server Mike was terrific! Friendly but professional and very patient with us. We were only having salad and appetizers with a bit of wine and he took care of us as though we were ordering the most expensive, biggest meal on the menu! The food was great - several times we said to each other ‘very impressed with this place’

Excellent food and an awesome spritz menu. We lived in Italy for 3 years and they have the best spritzes we have found in the US.

I took my girlfriend to Commission Row in Indianapolis for her birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion, with a warm, upscale vibe that made the evening feel truly memorable. The staff went above and beyond to make her day special, from their attentive service to a little extra touch for her birthday that brought a big smile to her face. Highly recommend Commission Row for anyone looking to celebrate or just enjoy an incredible meal!

We attended the Tomahawk and Tequila Bar event which was held in the bar area. Not knowing exactly what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of food delivered and the variety of tequilas offered. Our event included two tequila based specialty cocktails or pours of tequila, two ounces of tomahawk steak and eight hand passed food items including pão de queijo (a small puffy, cheese roll), Picanha filled empanadas, deviled eggs, queijo assado, olive tapenade crostini, beef crostini, candied bacon and a chicken slider. Our concern with consuming enough food was quickly overcome as they continued passing more of each item including the slices of tomahawk steak. All the food items were flavorful especially the deviled eggs (they use mashed potatoes as part of the filling) and the tomahawk steak was seasoned perfectly. The event coordinator, Carmen, greeted each table and assisted the bartenders/servers as needed. The server was prompt and provided insights on each food item being delivered. Definitely a top notch event and worth the money.
