    We were delighted with our dining experience at the Ho Ho Kus Inn. It is a step back in time in ambiance in a historical mansion. We loved the small rooms which created a coziness and quiet atmosphere so uncommon in most restaurants today. The service was superb and the food generally excellent. If you're looking for a unique, romantic dining experience, Ho Ho Kus Inn is the place to go. Of all the many restaurants we have dined at in Bergen County, this is our favorite.     We enjoyed our first visit and are very happy to say that our experience did not go down “The Hill”. On the contrary. The service was very attentive and knowledgeable, the food was fresh and really tasty. Crab cake appetizer with mustard sauce was outstanding, would have liked 2-3 more of them on the plate however. Falafel was tasty and generous. Rigatoni bolognese was plentiful and the NY strip was beautifully cooked. We’ll be making another trip for sure!
