I met a few friends for our monthly book club. Let’s be real, it is mostly about the food and drinks. We chose Rosewood for the patio. It is nice but you are basically sitting in the parking lot. Drink selection and seasonal cocktails were wonderful. Food selections were good and everyone loved their meal. Service was a little slow. The manager served our drinks and didn’t know which cocktail was which. They were very accommodating about splitting the check three ways. This is always a local favorite.

Cru is fabulous! The ambiance, the level of service, the delivery of the meals (very relaxed) and the meal and dessert presentations are a work of art. Michael did a wonderful job making recommendations for dinner - We had the mushroom soup, broccoli empanada, vanilla smoke duck, and the lamb saddle. He also recommended the wines for our dinner that were perfect. Our dessert was so beautiful that we did not want to bite into it - it was the coconut mango eggs - do not let the title fool you - it was a work of art. The creme brûlée was wonderful as well. In short, we loved everything about our evening at Cru! Looking forward to our next visit.
