The extra 2, deserved, stars goes to the authenticity, fresh ingredients, taste and, for this special one-day promotion, value-for-money. But even without that deal we always leave very happy (just a little lighter in the wallet). There are many pizza restaurants and varieties in Denver now (thankfully) but Marco's Coal Fired clearly ranks above the others even if one wants, say, Detroit or New Haven style for their quality fresh ingredients and consistency.
