Best Restaurants for Afternoon Coffee in Chittaway Bay

We had antable booked for 7 people. We only waited a few minutes to be shown to our table, and were very excited we had a separate room to ourselves. The service was excellent, the food and drinks amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. We all enjoyed our brunch very much! Ronny Yap

Great ambience, service and proximity to city attractions (we went to Theatre Royal) and the food was good but it was not hot when it reached us. I think that the relatively shortened 'breakfast' menu meant that some of the more usual choices were not coming out 'cooked to order'. A pity as everything else about 'The Grounds' is great. Food was nice., although Steak in the Surf & Turf not as tender as should be. Ordered cup of tea & a coffee. Tea came in a mug & it looked like dishwater. Had to ask for extra teabag.Thought it should have come in a teapot..Coffee on other occasions we've been has been really good, yesterday was weak & no taste. Shame as we like the club & have not had an issue previously. Service is great, staff are lovely & so obliging.

Go the pancakes…best I have ever had. Forget the optional ice cream, it’s not an option you must add it to your order. Consistently good too
