The food is great but the waiters and waitresses haven't been properly trained. So food 5 star, Service 3 star.

Another lovely evening at this restaurant. Looked after Emma for service and very attentive and confident in her approach. Harry made a point of seeing us as did the Head Chef, which always make us feel valued and special guests. Lots of people were trying the tasting menu which looked interesting , but we were more than happy with our selections for starters and mains from the normal menu. I followed this up with a crème brûlée to finish, which was nice after the Chateaubriand. Great drinks too and the final bonus was that my wife paid the bill. Thanks again to all at The House by Hilly Gant.

Good quality food at reasonable prices and excellent service.

Service was a little slow but staff were all very polite and friendly, the food was perfect!! Will definitely go back
