Best Restaurants for Groups in River North (Chicago)

Staff was great, our waitress made sure my food sensitivities were accounted for. Food is excellent!

I was here a few years ago and remembered how fantastic it was, so I suggested it for a group lunch for some people coming out of town!

We went here for Thanksgiving dinner. I had the kale quinoa salad and the roasted turkey leg and jalapeno cheese grits. The meal came with dressing, cranberries and Brussels sprouts. The starter and dinner was great…probably the best Thanksgiving meal I ever had. I had he sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I’ve had better sticky pudding and didn’t really like it here. The service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and the rest of the staff worked as a team. The atmosphere was ok. It felt like a nice European diner. We went there in the early afternoon. It probably feels nicer at night. I never went there before and was expecting a nicer atmosphere. Overall we had a great experience.

My husband and I have moved to the Asheville, NC area and only come back to the Chicago area once a year to see family. We have been missing Quartino, especially because they can accommodate my lactose intolerance. This year, we decided that we had to go to downtown Chicago just so we could go the Quartino and Eataly. It was even worth the horrible traffic getting downtown!

Experience was good. Short with the staff. Everything went fantastic.
