Oliva’s food sourcing philosophy and relationships with local purveyors and farmers are highlighted throughout the menu. The restaurant welcomes guests to escape to a different time and place when they enter the cozy lounge ensconced by colorful curtains with comfortable seating. To the left, a 1,200-square-foot parlor area complete with hand-painted tile by local artisan Charlotte Smith and a mural by Savannah-based artist Kipper Millsap. Inside the 4,000-square-foot bistro, diners are transported to an airy, serene wonderland with large factory windows, floral installations by Atlanta-based floral artist Pinker Times, and large pink banquettes.

Cooks & Soldiers brings the cuisine and cultural experience of Spain’s Basque region to the flourishing West Midtown area. The menu is divided into “pintxos tradicionales,” or tapas-like snacks served atop toasted bread; “pinxtos especiales,” or Basque-inspired small plates; “asador” including a variety of wood-grilled fish, meats and vegetables; and a selection of unique and modern desserts. Behind the bar, Cooks & Soldiers offers guests an extensive collection of Basque and Spanish wines, txakoli and ciders, in addition to craft beer and signature cocktails. The cocktail list places a heavy emphasis on gin, offering a seasonal selection of house-infused tonics blended into gin tonics and other popular libations.

In 2005 four longtime college friends opened Tin Lizzy’s in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, giving their
guests a unique taqueria with service rooted in genuine hospitality. Tin Lizzy’s quickly became a popular
place to work and to meet friends for refreshing margaritas and delicious FlexMex cuisine. Soon after,
other neighborhoods wanted their own Tin Lizzy’s. We are excited to bring our passion for hospitality and “friends serving friends” mission to new neighborhoods.
