Best Restaurants for Foodies in South Windsor

I love the Flying Monkey! Whether I'm having brunch or dinner, the food and drinks are always amazingly delicious! The service is always excellent and the restaurant is always pristine. I've brought several family members and friends here, and they all loved it! The Flying Monkey is one of my favorite go-to restaurants.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Millwrights in Simsbury. We started with oysters and foie gras, followed by a kale Caesar and ricotta ravioli—each dish beautifully prepared. The pork loin and black bass entrées were exceptional, both rich in flavor and perfectly executed. We concluded with the chocolate-covered caramel bar—a confection so exquisite, it unequivocally ranks among the top five desserts I’ve ever had. Special thanks to our server, Ron, whose gracious service and thoughtful recommendations elevated the entire experience. Millwrights is truly a gem. *The Mock-tail was delicious!

Food was excellent; waitstaff very personable; very amenable to adjusting to meet our needs. We found the prefix menu both very affordable and of high quality. We are super supportive of the mission of Gather 55 intend to continue dining there.

Brunch after Sunday Mass was wonderful, the staff at The Pond House provides excellent service.

They were able to get us in at the last minute and the service and food was great.
