Morella celebrates the gastronomic influences that immigrants from European countries, particularly Spain and Italy, had on Argentinian cuisine in the decades following the mass migrations at the turn of the 20th century.     We had the most exquisite dining experience we have ever had at birdsong last night. Each course was so intricate with all the components, crafted into a delicious little sample of halibut, or abalone or quail or a tiny salad with petals of a flower, a sprig of fennel, a herb leaf all together to make a hard to describe salad. Chef Chris checked dishes as they came out and his team worked together to provide an outstanding array of courses that made us marvel at how he created them. I also appreciate how he adapted things to accommodate my gluten sensitivity. We were thoroughly impressed.

    We were only in SF for two nights, and had made no plans. A friends said we should try to go to Nopa, and I am so glad we were able to grab a 9pm reservation for the next night! The drinks were creative, wine nice, and the food was honestly perfect. We were in town during Stone Fruit season, and all of the dishes highlighted the seasonal produce beautifully. Would return any time I am in town, and I will certainly recommend it to others.

    Really nice experience. Detailed and friendly service, and absolutely brilliant food. The Lobster rolls are off the hook, order them alongside a bottle of Champagne and a better lunch cannot be had.
