The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope that you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! Incomplete parties will not be sat until complete.

It’s unusual to find really fresh and good food, great and an overall good experience anymore in Boulder at an affordable price. We had a variety of goods and everything was delicious. I wish they open a neighborhood restaurant in Niwot or longmont.

The staff’s commitment to attention to detail and the rhythm of service (plates being cleared in a timely manner for the arrival of new plates, being provided fresh plates and silverware, etc) was absolutely perfect. We placed a full order at the beginning of the evening and each course came out at the perfect pace. We ordered the gem lettuces, arancini, rigatoni, Tiradito, New York strip steak, and cream brûlée to finish. Each plate was stunning with perfectly executed flavors and temperatures. The ambiance upstairs was intimate and quiet. The staff is committed to hospitality and it is evident in every detail of the dining experience. Highly recommend dining here. 10/10
