We had a fabulous evening for our Anniversary at the Wimbledon Ivy this week, the staff were really attentive, the food excellent and we were given a special Anniversary dessert which was delicious and gratefully received. Thank you all for making our evening special :)

As always the welcome is warm and friendly, and the service is attentive -and with a smile. The upstairs terrace with its view into the trees is a favourite summer destination. No sign of the Tempura prawns on the menu, but we all enjoyed the asparagus with its slightly spicy sauce, and the John Dory was as good as you will find. The temptation posed by the dessert offering was too strong to resist- and we were not disappointed.

Great experience, my guest was seriously impressed. I asked for a glass of white wine and the waiter brought a taster of an excellent portuguese alvarino, perfect for a lunch. Service was good and the river views are lovely.
