My wife and I had the tasting menu at the Firepit and every single thing was delicious. Lovely ambiance at the restaurant and we will definitely be returning

Myself and husband came for a date night and all I can say was wow … the food was amazing the staff were welcoming and very friendly will defo be back with friends next time

It’s worth the drive to find this pub. Friendly welcome and excellent food and service. The pub has a lovely ambience, no tv or loud music. It’s not the cheapest but the menu is different and all beautified and presented.

So food is amazing, really tasty. Before we explain lol we asked to take a seat on the deck before our table was ready and they said it’s table service but it took nearly 30mins to get a drink and we had to go back up to the bar to order as they had forgotten us ;( our intro to the menu was very basic compared to the service on the table next to us they had a full explanation of everything. Not a biggy but we felt left out. Then an optional ! Service charge of 12.5% was added to the bill without us being aware. We worked it out when we left. No wonder their service is not as good as expected. Although food was very good the cost of a burger that was just a burger was a bit much. But hey you live and learn. Not a cheap night out ;) service could be better

A wonderful afternoon tea .So much food lots of choice, a vegetarian catered for with amazing yummy cakes, scones, and sandwiches with added savoury pastries too! Attentive very polite & friendly staff .A really lovely afternoon with friends made all the better at the Blazing donkey who we could hear braying happily in a neighbouring field .
