Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Kalaheo

We enjoyed our experience at Gaylord’s. The hostess wasn’t friendly but our server was great! She was timely and quick with bringing drinks and our food. The food was slow to come out of the kitchen and unfortunately two of our four meals were barely like warm. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. We so enjoyed a meal in the light Kauai rain. The grounds are lovely and you definitely feel like you are on an island. We would go back.

Wonderful experience!! The staff was welcoming and as friendly as a family. The food was excellent. The head on shrimp small plate was extraordinary I highly recommend the brussel sprouts and cauflower small plate. The ramen was unsual and very tasty. The seared steak in a cast iron pan was delighful. This was one of the best meals we had in Hawaii.

Several friends recommended our visit to this Thai restaurant. As they don’t have hibachi or sushi anymore, they are known for their Thai dishes. Service was friendly and portions are good. We ordered 2 orders of egg rolls, drunken noodles and the crying tiger. Egg rolls came out piping hot and the drunken noodles were full of veggies and plenty of sauce. The only feedback I have was that the crying tiger sauce was cold which left dipping to be undesirable. Otherwise the portion and steak were good.

Excellent service all around from the hostess, bartender and our wait staff. Very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the paella and it was delicious! Highly recommend.
