Great food and great service. Upbeat atmosphere without being too formal.

Not our first visit to Joel’s and won’t be our last. Steaks are always cooked exactly as requested. David has been our server more than once. He is fabulous and has made each visit memorable. We will continue to visit Joel’s and recommend it to friends!

What fun! From the secret entrance to the live crooner on the stage we had a fabulous evening! Chicago Tommy, the doorman (must have been a former Mob Boss) hooked us up with a cozy booth near the stage so we could enjoy the classic tunes. Vinny, our waiter, couldn’t have done a better job. His timing was perfect! He left us alone to enjoy the evening at our pace and was there to keep the wine glasses topped off and the food coming. The portions were plentiful and delicious, especially the Veal Parm. Finished the night with a delectable piece of Tiramisu and we were completely satisfied! Loved the entire experience! We’ll be back!

What an amazing experience from the moment we sat down. The service was spot on and timely but what really made it great was the food. We had a filet mignon and ribeye and both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We finished with the coconut cream pie which was equally great. Overall a wonderful experience worth the money.

Great "newish" operator-owned steak house. The decor is an old school vibe for 2025. Great service. Don't skimp on the bread pre-meal or dessert. Their pastry chef is - well you have to taste it to believe how good it is. Free valet parking is appreciated for this Downtown local. Killer bar. Live Jazz band on Thursdays (I believe). Go. You will enjoy.
