Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Glover Park

Cocktail lounge lacked any atmosphere and did not feel welcoming. Once upstairs in the lovely restaurant the atmosphere improved and the view is great. Food was ok - perhaps expected it to be a little slicker from the GR brand. Most annoying thing was the low rent doof doof music - it really cheapens what I thought was supposed to an elegant dining experience. We wouldn’t go again.

The whole experience from start to finish was exquisite. Food was perfection. Burrata was my favorite dish of the night. All of the dishes were so well-balanced. Service from Kyle was outstanding. He was extremely accommodating, helpful, and warm. Best service I've had in a long time. The staff in general was on point. Would recommend, and will be returning.

The staff went out of their way to be accommodating with our 2-year-old, making what could have been a stressful meal feel easy and enjoyable. Our waiter was top notch; attentive, kind, and genuinely made us feel welcome. To top it off, the bar treated us to a complimentary drink for Father’s Day, which was such a thoughtful touch. Loved everything about our visit and we can’t wait to come back.

We had not been back to DC in years and were delighted that Black Salt still serves innovative specials and wonderful classic takes on fish and seafood. Great service!
