- DDavidVIPWashington, D.C. Area •39 reviews4.0Dined todayOur party of four dined at Iron Gate on a Monday evening at 7:00 PM. Two of us had dietary restrictions, which were handled smoothly by our waitstaff. Food and ambiance were lovely as we have come to expect. I think all of us liked every dish we had very much. One unexpected detraction was that there were a couple of noticeable delays in service: one at the beginning of the meal when there was a very long gap between our being seated an the arrival of an amuse-bouche, and one between the second and third courses. Our server apologized for both delays.More infoIron GatePrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Dupont Circle•4.6
- BBethCharlotte •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe seafood was, without a doubt, the freshest we've ever had. We kicked off our meal with the seafood tower, a spectacular display that was as stunning as it was delicious. The crab cakes were bursting with flavor, the clams and raw oysters were hands down the best we've ever encountered. Not only were the staff incredibly attentive, but they also took the time to explain the menu in great detail, helping us navigate the options and make informed choices. Their passion for the food was evident, and it enhanced our overall experience significantly. In conclusion, if you're a seafood lover, this restaurant is a must-visit. From the exceptional quality of the seafood to the outstanding service, every element came together to create an amazing dining experience that we will not soon forget. We can't wait to return!More infoBlackSaltPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Palisades Northwest•4.8

- LLindaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 30, 2025I had one of the best meals I've had in DC. The food was not overseasoned, which is the problem I have with many of the DC finer dining restaurants. The steak was amazing with the best red wine reduction sauce and the pasta with scallops and mussels was delicous. Rockfish equally delicious. Dessert of the warm hawaiaan cake was the perfect balance and sweet and tart. Kevin was the best server. I hadn't been back to Equinox since they moved to 19th street but now I will definitely be returning.More infoEquinox - DCPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.8
