Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Wakefield

We attended the Jean-Charles Boisset wine dinner and it was AMAZING!!! We’ve been to the previous three, since we’re regulars at Post 1917, and this one far exceeded our expectations! The food was super creative and delicious, and the wine pairings (yes, plural-two wines with each course, one French and one American) were superb. We even made some new friends at our table. Just WOW!! Can’t wait for the next one!

Dinner was great at the VM. There were 4 of us and we ordered two fish and two chicken meals. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was attentive and very pleasant. It was quiet as it was a Tuesday night, it was a bit dark in the restaurant, but did not impact our enjoyable dinner!

It was a Monday night. Not too busy, but 10 tables occupied in our area, and could see several people at the bar. Our Fried Fish and Scallops were well prepared, asked for extra crispy fries. They were underdone in the middle. The service was good but somewhat slow, as the waiter was waiting on 8 other tables that I could see, maybe understaffed for the evening?

I always have a nice time here. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is consistently excellent. The garlic bread is great. Could be a meal in and of itself.

Tribu was excellent. The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional. I loved the decor. We ordered the birria tacos, street corn, taquitos, pork tacos and churros. I can’t wait to go back!
