Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Downtown / Loring Park

Dinner (salad) was great. Dessert not so great, averages to a 3. Will definately be back, but no chocholate torte.

Went early on a weekday so the restaurant was mercifully not crowded. Seated immediately in the table of our choice, efficient and friendly and knowledgable wait staff. Food order was correct, arrived at the table piping hot (even the toast!) and plated beautifully. And bonus it all tasted really yummy. Love the atmosphere, we will always take our out of town company there. Love the story of how the employees came to own the restaurant and hope it thrives for many years to come.

Great place with a fantastic steak, chill staff and no old school stuffiness

We had a nice dinner before a show, celebrating my birthday. The rigatoni dish was hot and delicious. My husband enjoyed the sushi. I had a yummy lavender cocktail, too. Good service, overall, but the server forgot to bring ketchup for our son’s fries. The server gave me a complimentary birthday brownie and ice cream, which was nice.

The hotel is locked at the skyway level coming from Orchestra Hall. We were able to get in only because someone came out. We won't be returning until this is fixed
