Great date night vibe! Live music, great food, and an open bar if that’s more your style. Staff was very attentive and accommodating. Great experience!

Amazing experience- we eat at a lot of great restaurants in DFW- and this easily compares with any of them! Food was outstanding- coffee rubbed carrots, fried green tomatoes- truly southern made- and vegan lasagna with cheese that tastes like cheese- all fantastic. We also tried the pasta with prawns- so good! The pasta is all made on site. The hummingbird cake was sensational. The service was excellent. This is such a worthy program with passionate leadership - the kids are so sweet and interested in what they are learning. We will be regulars no doubt- don’t miss Cafe Momentum!! It really is one of the very best in DFW!

I didn't know whether to give the service two stars, three stars, or four stars. The service was certainly idiosyncratic. The vibe I got from the waitress was basically, "I don't exactly know why you're here, and I don't exactly know why I'm here, but we're definitely here now, so let's get through this with as little awkwardness as possible." What ensued was a repudiation of my usual expectations of a restaurant experience: having one's questions answered in a natural way, and getting both of the entrees we ordered instead of the bill. To her credit, the waitress gave a good delivery of a line that, in hindsight, she has probably had multiple occasions to use: "Honestly, this [free dessert] is way better than the [entree that was forgotten]," which made me laugh. In her defense, she was single-handedly serving all the tables I saw from our outdoor table (in addition to doing room service at the hotel). Still, here is a tip: write down the customers' orders -- show us you care. Food was good and ambience was great.

Nice restaurant in downtown area. Homemade pasta dishes were very good.
