Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Coulwood

I had a good 1st experience. I celebrated my birthday with a few friends. I had the braised short rib which was amazinggggg. I cleaned my entire plate. My friends had the lobster linguini and it was delicious. The food and service was the best. My only complaint was it being able to use the birthday special that was advertised on social media. I showed the screenshot that I took of the post (which is what it said to do) and I showed my waiter but she informed me that it was only for the month that it was posted in which didn’t make sense. I wish I would’ve been able to apply that social media birthday post to my meal and that would’ve made my experience a little better.

We had a wonderful dinner at Fin & Fino. Our server, Jimmy, was phenomenal. He was friendly, attentive to detail, and knowledgeable about the menu. He timed dishes perfectly and was present, checking in regularly without being overbearing. Standout menu items included oysters (the accompanying mignonettes and house crackers elevated this from standard services), beets, furikake fries, crudo, and steak. There were several items we would come back to try — and we’ll definitely add Fin & Fini to our regular rotation thanks to this new experience!

The sports tv sets DEFINITELY lower the experience in Sophia’s l. Highly recommend the tvs be put into a smaller, less conspicuous area for those who, heaven forbid, absolutely cannot enjoy an evening without staring at a tv screen. Sophia’s can elevate itself away from the lowered quality of Sports Bar by putting the tv reception in a small discrete area.

Outstanding restaurant! Becoming one of my favorites! Great service- great food - love the way they build a custom menu to complement the theater playing at Belk with a great price point!
