This was well worth the wait!! I’m not really a tomato person but both the bruschetta and burrata with winter tomatoes were delicious! I usually try to avoid sourdough bread as most places serve them tough but Tom’s sourdough bread was perfectly soft. I would also highly recommend the oyster mushroom tagliatelle. And of course the star of the show was the tiramisu!!! Again, not a tiramisu person because I don’t like coffee but this was perfect! As someone who doesn’t consume any alcohol, I also really appreciate that they don’t add any to their tiramisu.

Wonderful environment, very friendly and efficient service, food hit and miss, excellent starters, mains variable steak ok, cod under cooked, dessert very good.

Another great Sunday at The Good Reader. Whole family there this time - the mussels were so good my kid drank the jus with a straw. Such a lovely place.

I would highly recommend this place, went there for lunch on a quite Friday afternoon for lunch, the service was great and the positions are generous and food tasted fresh and was flavourful
