Located just a stone's throw from the Hôtel de Ville and the Marais district, Le Coupe Gorge restaurant, with its antique parquet flooring, dressed stonework and red velvet banquettes, exudes the flavour of old Paris and the pleasures of fine dining. Lovely, little French restaurant on the left bank. Le Reminet is small, but lively. Starters included a cool gazpacho and a “perfect” egg with spinach and gruyere. Main course was a beautifully cooked perch with charred cauliflower. There’s a nice wine list and lovely desserts.
