Best Organic Food Restaurants in Old Strathcona

Our absolute favorite place for a great dinner. Food and drink is always fantastic. Service is top notch. Anytime they put on a special event we will happily partake.

We didn’t really know where to go that evening — we just picked the first decent-looking place nearby. And it turned out to be an amazing surprise. The oysters were fantastic — fresh, meaty, and served with a lychee vinaigrette that worked beautifully with the wine. We had Dirty Laundry from BC, and honestly, it was one of the best pairings we’ve had in a long time. For the main course, we tried the braised bison and sablefish — both were incredibly flavourful and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is very small — just five tables — but that gives it a cozy, intimate vibe. The service was warm and attentive without being too much. If you’re looking to enjoy a glass of wine, oysters, or some charcuterie, this place should definitely be on your to-do list. We’re so glad we found it. Thank you for such a lovely evening!

This is a great place to enjoy a hockey game with friends, enjoy some good food and great prices on drinks. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Everything was very good. I cannot drink coffee so our waitress found a very good tea for me. Next time, we will go earlier as there were only ends of the roast beef left at 1:30. Fresh fruit was limited with no strawberries, raspberries or blueberries - just melons. I would have had waffles if there had been some fruit to go along with them. I liked the crepe bar. The desserts were very good. Service was very good and we enjoyed the music that was playing softly in the background.
