Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. My son and I dined at Temaki Sushi on 3 May 2025. What a fantastic experience! The food was wonderful - beautifully presented, exquisitely flavoured and just right in terms of quantity. The staff were also excellent, and were clearly extremely keen to help us enjoy the evening. Excellent Saki too! Overall, this is a must-visit experience if you love amazing Japanese food.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant and relaxing. The service was excellent, and the staff were polite and professional. The food was absolutely delicious and of high quality. Even my daughter, who is usually a picky eater, enjoyed everything! We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back again.
