Best Lunch Restaurants in Portsmouth

We loved Saltine. Easy to find (we are from out of town). Our host was gracious and seated us immediately. Out table was nice and at least two tables away from anyone else (so nut all squished together). Lively ambience. Our waitress Nikia was great. Drinks were wonderful and the calamari was delicious. My husband had the stuffed flounder and I had the crab cakes. Everything was delicious. Nokia struck the balance Nicole of making sure we were doing ok without being overly hovering. We will definitely be back next time we are in Norfolk

Had dinner with my wife on a date night. We were both very pleased with our meals and our wine. Her pesto tortellini with shrimp was exactly what she was craving and my harissa tuna was amazing. The restaurant presents very well also with nice finishes and ambience. The service was good, not great, and there could have been better preparation in knowing what they were out of and presenting the daily specials without having to be asked about them. But they were nice enough, and we didn’t lack for anything so overall I was pleased with the service. The menu is a bit small, particularly on sides that they offer with entrees. They were out of one of their sides, which was disappointing, but it happens. Overall, I’d be happy to return here next time I’m in Norfolk, and would recommend it to anyone.

The hostess was very accommodating with our request of seating. Our server Sue gave us excellent service. Lunch was wonderful. Thank you Blue Moon.
