Best Lunch Restaurants in Financial District / Embarcadero

What a great lunch. Brussel. Sprouts had such flavor. The burger was amazing, juicy and well cooked.

I have gone to Le Central for over 40 years. I'm glad the restaurant is still here. Our waiter was courteous and attentive. However, our seatd in the window by the 'Caen/Bashford/Brown' panels made it hard to hear; had I arrived sooner I would have asked to be re-seated in the larger room where the ambiance is better. The food was consistently good; it was good to be back in that old, familiar place.

Excellent ambience, food, service, and venue. The 10-oz. Lamb with potatoes entree and Mixed Berries with a dash of whipped cream dessert, both evening specials, were heavenly to dine for. The waitstaff honored our friend’s milestone birthday with a special candle on her chosen dessert. Kokkari’s entire staff is to be highly commended for their exceptional dedication and courteous service to its customers.

Very nice lunch. Great service. Great food friendly staff.

The new location for Wayfare Tavern is great. They always go above & beyond, highly recommend!
