Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Kettering

Very high quality in keeping with other pubs in the same group, differentiated offering and loads of care and thought has gone into the menu. Just a couple of tiny details stopped a higher score - we sat in the extension which was fairly noisy so if you want a romantic or cosy meal, ask to be seated in the main building. The mains were really good but seemed to be quite different sizes; hubby had the AA lamb and I had the lamb kofta. The lamb meal was a bit on the small side (more veg maybe?) And the kofta was a bit on the large side, and the chilli jam and tzatziki were all over the rice which overpowered the rice/negated the tzatziki, different pots for the sauces would have been perfect. Staff were amazing and food/atmosphere really high quality as always.

We went for a little retirement lunch. Everyone was extremely happy with their meal. Loads of flavour and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be going back.

We visited for a pre-booked Steak and Lobster special with some friends. We were given a choice of table and sat in a cosy place near the central fireplace. Staff were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The lobster and steak were spectatular, beautifully prepared and presented, we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Had run out of Greek yogurt but lack of communication between staff made breakfast ordering quite difficult. Eventually sorted and meal was taken off of the bill without having to ask, just a bit faffy
