Some of the best food I have ever had, prawn starter and scallops starter were unbelievable and the fillet steak was perfection.. really relaxed eating atmosphere Will certainly be returning

We booked here ahead of our break in Amble. This was our first night here & we weren't disappointed. Decent range of beers, lagers and wines. Quite an extensive choice on the menu. Quality of food very good, complemented by friendly, attentive staff. Not in our opinion ideal for people wanting 'fancy' or 'exotic' food but if, like us, you like excellent quality, good old fashioned English grub then you will find this pub to your liking.

Plenty of parking, lovely place to eat, food was delicious, staff were lovely, was a nice atmosphere we ate here twice in the 4 days we were in the area. The menu had a good choice of food, for us and our teenagers. Would recommend a visit
