The food is very good with several standout dishes. Great selection for vegetarians. The burrata is exceptional...a unique combination of flavours to accompany it. The carrots with labneh were full of flavour as were the agria potatoes; perfectly crisp with a subtle taste of salt and vinegar. Make sure you order the grilled potato bread. Service was exemplary. The maitre d' made us feel very welcome. We'll definitely return.

Waked in staff were welcoming friendly and informative ordered drinks confirmed our booking for food and obtained some darts which we paid £3 as a charitable donation then had a friendly game for a hour or so before sitting down to have our food good solid pub food not huge portions but well prepared and tasty . Considering where the pub is situated very reasonably priced overall a very nice experience would recommend lots of different real ales and ciders to chose from lovely old style British pub give it a try you won’t be disappointed
