A restaurant, wine bar and fermenting kitchen - we're open for lunch Wednesdays to Sundays and dinner all week. Our menu changes monthly and our cooking is simple and seasonal. It's here we make all our seasonal ferments, pickles and drinks - all of which you can buy ready jarred from our fridge. Our large kitchen counter is the centrepiece, and you’re invited to grab a seat, order something to eat and enjoy the workings of life in our kitchen. In the evening, the lights go down, dinner is served and you can enjoy wines by the glass and bottle from our ever-changing wine list of natural and biodynamic wines.

Fran's is a neighbourhood caff & Diner on Wilton Way, offering British and Italian comfort food. All day English breakfast, fry ups etc. In the evening we are an Italian Trattoria (casual restaurant, serving simple, regional traditional dishes in a casual, family-run setting) Known for our great value, fresh handmade pasta as well as wonderful wines & simple cocktails.We welcome walk-ins throughout the day and no need to book for breakfast, but you can secure a booking for Lunch from 11.30 to 14.00 and we take bookings for our evening menu from 5.30 to 21.45 Thursday to Saturday. On Sunday we have our all day breakfast and weekend lunch menu until 3pm. We also have our Wine Bar a few doors down, if you would like to visit pre dinner or while waiting for a table.We do not take reservations for Breakfast. Our dough is made fresh daily and proved slowly, meaning we're able to use minimal quantities of yeast and our pizzas are light. Our commitment is to quality, and we use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas.Beers on tap include our own Fatto Bionda Helles Lager and Joosy Hazy Pale from Brighton’s UnBarred, and The Kernel’s Table Beer. We work with small producers as long term partners, including Fior Di Latte Mozzarella sourced from Caserta, Campania and wines imported directly from private Italian growers. The pizzeria menu features classics such as Margherita, salsiccia e friarielli, diavola and Fatto a Mano's scugnizielli dessert, whilst also featuring modern additions including lasagna pizza, homemade arancini and our own vegan 'nduja pizza.
