The founder is a mother of three who was looking for places locally to have a nice coffee and some lovely brunch whilst my older children were at school and I had the little one with me.Locally there wasn’t anything except for the coffee shop chains who didn’t offer proper meals during those core school hours where you want to be able to have enough time to enjoy your meal but also get out by 2pm on time for the school run. There are plenty of places for lunch that open from 12 but women like the founder who maybe would like to meet a friend for a coffee and brunch there wasn’t anything.This is why I decided to start Nashtaa. Where we can all go have a lovely cup of tea or coffee, a nice brunch with a fusion twist and a homemade slice of cake to top it off! All in a beautiful Instagram worthy setting.

It’s a family-run place on Staines Road in Feltham, one that doesn’t try to scream from the rooftops about the quality of the food because the quality of the food speaks for itself. Begin your meal with a selection of hot tapas then consider a main of fresh fish – this is a Portuguese restaurant, after all – with the grilled king prawns served with baby calamaris being a dish we’d certainly recommend. O Calhau Feltham offers as well a fine selection of wine and the staff will be more than happy to help you choose one to pair with your food. In this part of suburban London, not far at all from Heathrow airport, we don’t know of a better Portuguese restaurant. Reserve a table now.

The waitress was absolutely perfectly attentive without being intrusive helpful and kind smelt nice and presented well unfortunately on entering the building you had the overwhelming smell of the toilets thankfully the room where we had breakfast was separate and the stench was only mildly noticeable I hasten to add the food was delicious hopefully they have their waterworks in order sooner rather than later .
