It’s a family-run place on Staines Road in Feltham, one that doesn’t try to scream from the rooftops about the quality of the food because the quality of the food speaks for itself. Begin your meal with a selection of hot tapas then consider a main of fresh fish – this is a Portuguese restaurant, after all – with the grilled king prawns served with baby calamaris being a dish we’d certainly recommend. The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

I have recently moved to Teddington and my daughter lives at Isleworth so Richmond was a convenient place to meet. The Cricketers is a great pub in a lovely setting on the edge of the Green. If you like cricket as I do, there is a lot of great memorabilia. But the most important thing is the food - really interesting and varied choices, and all 5 of us had a great meal. The waitress who served us was so nice and cheery, and the whole evening was a real delight. We'll certainly be back soon!

The food is always good here and I eat here a lot. We came here after our civilparnership a couple of years before my husband passed away so it holds great memories. Unfortunately it is closing in two weeks so I don't know where I'll go next.
