Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Cubitt Town

I absolutely loved Darling’s! It’s such a wonderful surprise to find this beautiful little restaurant hidden away in Fish Island in a relatively obscure location. It truly is a hidden gem!! The design is gorgeous from the the flowered, wooden veranda outside to the cool, sleek interiors and open plan kitchen. It’s got a laid back yet stylish feel. I came for dinner and was incredibly impressed with the food. The best focaccia I think I’ve ever had, burrata with honey butter and truffle, mafaldine, gnocchi and a very cheeky tiramisu to finish were highlights for me - but really, everything was delicious and beautifully served. The service was very friendly and attentive, I felt relaxed and well looked after. I don’t drink but they had a really great selection of non alcoholic options for me to enjoy and choose from when many places have a much more limited selection - which was another pleasant surprise! I really can’t recommend this enough. It’s a unique, independent dining experience found in a place you would never expect. Just wonderful - bravo!!

We went for the Charlie and the chocolate factory afternoon tea the food was delicious drinks were amazing and if you can’t manage to eat it all they let you take it home, place looks amazing, this is my second time going and would definitely book to go again

Really lovely restaurant with great service. They kindly let us move to an unoccupied table as we were eating early. Loved the fideu & special mention to the cocktails.

Extremely pleasant experience and delicious. Took my family of five with three children who had the chicken curry. I had the steak and ale pie which was superb. Very attentive staff and an all round great experience. Plus lovely position on the river. Recommend.

This was the first time any of us had been to a Korean BBQ, and it was honestly such a great experience from start to finish. The whole group absolutely loved it! The interactive element of cooking your own food at the table made the evening feel really fun and relaxed, it gave us all something to do and chat about while waiting, and added a unique twist we hadn’t experienced before. One of the standout features for us was the use of tablets at each table. Being able to order more food and drinks at any point without waiting to catch the server was brilliant. It kept things moving at our own pace and meant we could just enjoy ourselves without interruption. We’ll definitely do it again and would recommend to anyone wanting to try something a bit different.
