Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Downtown Charleston

Very cool atmosphere, very deserving of business casual attire or you can get fancy. The service and food were both top tier! Excellent and attentive wait staff. Food quality was amazing!

We had not really allowed enough time between our reservation and a subsequent show we were going to. Staff worked with us to ensure we were seated on time and with the kitchen to ensure our food came out as quickly as possible. Especially considering how busy they were, this was nice. One of us had the charcuterie tray as a meal, the other had the salmon. Both were excellent. I had the French onion soup and was not impressed. It was much too salty for my taste (and I love salt) and some of the onions were undercooked. To be fair, the undercooked onions could have been the result of our request for quick service. Finally, I marked the noise level as "energetic," but might have selected "nearly deafening" if it had been offered. To be fair, our seating time was at the height of the overlap between busy dining on a Friday night and a packed bar when we first got there. The cocktail I ordered from the bar when we first arrived and before being seated was tasty and "full-strength."

Great service and exceptional value. Have been to other locations and this one is above the others.

The food was A+ all the way. Salmon was good flawlessly, the crab cake was meaty, scallops were perfect, the oysters were exactly what we were looking for. Service was exceptional as well!
