Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Pawcatuck

When we first arrived, they did sit us at a table that was unstable and my handicapped mother had difficulty sitting on the moving chair and wobbly table. They moved us right away and had a wonderful experience. Food was wonderful and our server was very nice.

We have wanted to try Tin Peddler for a while, and had the perfect opportunity for a family brunch. We had an 11:00 a.m. reservation, and when we arrived the hostess informed us that they were running a little behind, so we had a 10 minute wait to be seated which was no big deal. The brunch menu is lovely. The drink menu offered wonderful brunch cocktail selections (including mocktails), and the food menu had a really nice selection of both breakfast and more savory lunch options. Everyone said their food was exceptional. Our party ordered a variety of items, including traditional breakfasts, butternut bisque, avocado toast and grilled cheese, all delicious. One funny thing that happened was the bus person took our plates before asking if we were finished, and before we realized what was happening, my son was left holding the last bites of his breakfast sandwich while his plate was cleared away. We all laughed, but this is just a little fine tuning that their staff should be trained on. The restaurant decor is really fun and inviting. The noise level did get loud at times but that seems to be common in restaurants these days because of the decor and furnishings they use, and the open concept layout. Definitely not a deal breaker. All in all we had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning to try their dinner menu!

Another excellent meal at Ella's. I had the swordfish special, my husband had the flounder special and both were delicious. The presentation is always done so beautifully too. Ella's is without a doubt our favorite restaurant. The staff is wonderful, friendly, efficient and well trained. Kristen was our server tonight and she is a delight and so joyful! She always remembers our choice of drinks even to the brand. And Randy and Brook are not to be overlooked.
