- AAngelicaSan Diego •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoVery good view if you are seating outside. Crab dip is very tasty. The seafood pasta is a tad bland but good overall. Lots of crab in the crab dip. Seafood pasta has lots of seafood and was cooked well.More infoSchooners MontereyPrice: Expensive• Californian• Monterey•4.7

- MMarcyNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI had visited Il Vecchio before and had such a delicious meal that on a return visit to Pacific Grove this weekend, I had to go back. The ambience is softly lit and rustic and beautiful. Our server, Lisa, was very attentive, super friendly and gracious. I know this is an Italian restaurant with a plethora of mouth watering pasta dishes, but I ordered the steak and it was one of the best steaks I've had in ages. It had a delicious crust, tender and juicy inside and served with potatoes and vegetables. Paired with a glass of Pinot Noir, it was a perfect meal. I brought my brother with me and while he thought the steak was pricey, he was equally rhapsodic about the meal. Next time, I'll try the pasta! Alot of tourists to the area always go to Carmel and Monterey, but Pacific Grove is a best kept secret and this restaurant is a gem that should be added to your list. Reservations recommended.More infoIl VecchioPrice: Moderate• Italian• Pacific Grove•4.6
