Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Marina

This experience was phenomenal. We will be back again tonight.

We started with a specialty cocktail and glass of sparkling. We chose sparkling since the up-charge on champagne was a bit silly ($32 for Veuve Cliquot). The Scharffenberger sparkling was rung at $16 a glass and went down easy. We split a fairly large Caesar salad and the house foccacia to start. Very good. My partner had the filet of sole (priced at $36); I the ribeye (priced at $65). Both were prepared well. We also ordered a side of Brussel sprouts since our server said the ribeye did not come with sides. This was a bit misleading. The ribeye was a hearty dish and had artichoke hearts, mushrooms and deep fried onion rings on top. Did not need the extra side which we boxed up and took home. Finished the evening with a warm chocolate cookie. Out the door close to $300 for two. On ambiance, the restaurant had flood lights on indoors. At one point they were appropriately turned down. Then brought back up. It was 6:00 p.m.

Another wonderful meal and evening at Stokes Adobe. It’s becoming one of our most favorite places to dine.

As usual, Chris Shake’s Old Fisherman’s Grotto was a fabulous experience tonight. The ambiance was warm and inviting with other diners obviously enjoying their meals as well. The noise level was minimal yet most tables had guests. The service was impeccable. Our meals were presented beautifully and every bite enjoyable. Thank you Chris for maintaining such a high standard for the finest dining in Monterey County! Your restaurant again deserves being selected #1.

Our salad, seafood dinners, and bread pudding was all very flavorful, the perfect temperature, and came out timely! The service was impressive from the moment we walked in until we left. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!
