Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there.     I went with a friend to Screen Door this morning for one of the best breakfasts I have had in the Portland area ever! The fried chicken and biscuits with mushroom gravy was absolutely perfect with a side of housemade jam. My friend had a mushroom, kale tart with fried leek topping and sauce and an amazing salad. Again, it was a mouthwatering masterpiece! We will be going back. I recommend getting a reservation several days before you plan on going as there is a very large line at this popular place. Service was also stellar and very friendly!

    We were celebrating a 30th birthday and chose the tasting menu. The food kept coming and was absolutely delicious. The variety and choices were wonderful and it made it so much easier to dine this way. The staff was friendly, fun, and professional. The environment was perfect for this gathering. I would highly recommend this venue.

    Amazing! The flavors just burst in your mouth! My husband got the meat tasting and I got the vegetarian tasting, and we shared. Again the flavors were spectacular! Our service was excellent and they were so informative. Such a memorable time for us.
