Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant. Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too. Always delivers for special evenings/occasions. Been lucky enough to have found them back in 2018 and we are yet to have a meal that hasn’t ticketed all the boxes (food, service, ambience, etc). Thanks as always team Smoke & Salt!

We always enjoy our visits to Colombo Kitchen. The food never disappoints, beautiful flavours, well presented, always a joy. The service was exceptional on our last visit. Our waiter was very attentive and looked after us soo well. We will always recommend Colombo Kitchen.

Great tasting meal. The weather was amazing and we were able to sit outside. Having a shared starter was a fun way to share some amazing food. We had prawns, variation of meats and breads with olives. Perfect with a glass of wine or a bear.
