- TThomasAsheville / Western North Carolina •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe arrived a little early for our reservation and were greeted promptly. Had to wait a short time before we were seated, which gave us time to walk around the lobby area. Devon was the perfect waiter; personable, friendly and was very attentive to our needs and questions. I would request him if he is working. The food was excellent. The chef in the restaurant knows how to cook food perfectly. My wife's scallop special was great. The scallops were seared to perfection; not mushy or dry. I had the surf and turf with pecan crusted pork chop and pistachio crusted grouper. These are on the regular menu, and I would highly recommend this dish. Again, both were cooked to perfection. A must is the salted caramel creme brulee. All in all, a great pre-Valentine's dinner. Thank you.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Virginia Beach, VAPrice: Moderate• American• Virginia Beach•4.6
- TTheronVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe service was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable on the menu. Our waitress was great, checked on us regularly without interrupting our meal. She made us smile and provided sound advice on the food. The owner visits the tables and spends as much time with you as you want. She has an interesting background, and you can enjoy a very friendly and interesting conversation with her. The food is amazing. There are enough options to make choosing difficult but I would say the lamb is the best I have ever tasted. The portions are sizable and worth the fee. There was plenty to take home afterwards. The ambience is casual enough to enjoy a quick dinner or show up for something more formal, it is up to you. Totally worth is in our opinion and I am certainly going back.More infoLeila International CuisinePrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Norfolk•4.8

- BBarbaraVIPVirginia •5 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 2, 2025Ms Emily is such a joy. Whenever I was to take a special meeting, I request to be in her section. So kind and on the ball. She really makes our experience perfect every time for many, many years now. Today was no exception. My only request is that you bring back the nicer hot tea flavors. My favorite thing is hot tea by the fireplace and I was disappointed to learn that the tea choices had been severely cut to very basic earl gray, mint, lemon or chamomile. There used to be orange, apple crisp (my fav!) and more. Also, the honey was previously so much nice. Today the food was wonderful..but I definitely felt the corners being cut on my tea service. Please consider brining that elevated experience back. :)More infoFounders Inn Swan Terrace GrillPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Virginia Beach•4.2
