Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Fairfax

Pleasant spacious dining space. Food excellent ,servers attentive And appreciate paper over linen covered tables.

Although the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night, the waitstaff handled their workload really well. The pleasant woman who seemed to be in control of the back of the house did a masterful job of ensuring that everyone got what they wanted. We very much appreciated that the servers worked in unison, and that no-one tried to befriend us or charm us--they just fed us! The food was very good, the menu offered plenty of options, and although the place was a little noisy because of the large number of diners, the atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. We plan to return.

The food is always the best of the best. The gnocchi I call pillows of heaven so light, fluffy, and delicious. There are usually standards and some seasonal specialties. Right now the chef Duhlio is making an ink squid fettuccine with prawns and a Calabrian chile sauce. It’s spicy but not too much with a delicious tangy sauce over perfectly cooked sauce, it’s quite incredible. There is nothing on the menu that isn’t cooked to perfection. Personally I think it’s one of the best Italian restaurants in the Bay Area.

The separate bar located across a brick enclosed pathway was quaint and the drinks were done well. The reservation was right on time and service was really nice. Our waitress was a gem, and checked in just enough. The meals (4) total, were all as ordered, came out nicely timed (following starters and salads/soups), and prepared/plated well. Definitely a spot to recommend and return to.

A fun evening with karaoke. The service and food were exceptional. A fun place to dine.
