Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Downtown / Loring Park

Great wait service!! Our waiter made the night enjoyable, efficient, and attentive. Food was as usual outstanding it's an expensive restaurant, but I'm a special night with friends. It's worth it.

I consider this restaurant to have some of the best staff in Minneapolis! They are long-timers, remember specifics, and treat customers beautifully. They never rush us or make us feel less important if we happen to not be having a big expensive meal. I love it here

It was our 42nd wedding anniversary. We requested seating in "the bar" and we were escorted to a cozy booth in their beautifully appointed lounge area, well beyond a "bar". I had the pan- seared halibut with a side of roasted mushrooms. Delicious! My wife had the always reliably tender filet, also delicious We were treated to a complimentary photogragh to commemorate the occasion and then an ice cream sundae! Wonderful evening! Thanks Lex!!

I came in for dinner with my husband for our anniversary and everything was amazing from the moment we entered the space. The staff was inviting and polite and the food was superb.

Classic butter-knife steak house. 4 of 5 had steaks and all thought they were excellent. I hade salmon and it was perfectly cooked. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was huge. We all enjoyed salads and craft cocktails - try the smoked old fashioned. We had requested a quieter location and were very satisfied with our table in a corner. The server was excellent obviously a veteran of Murrays. Old school charm all the way around.
