Il Portico es el restaurante dirigido de forma familiar más antiguo de Londres. Il Portico Restaurant, ubicado en Kensington High Street, ha estado ofreciendo especialidades italianas regionales desde que fue abierto en 1960 por el aclamado chef Pino Chiavarini, lo que equivale a 6 décadas y 3 generaciones. Aún en la actualidad sigue siendo administrado por la misma familia, los hermanos James y Francesca, que rinden homenaje a sus raíces sirviendo comida italiana auténtica y sencilla, típica de su región de origen, Emilia-Romaña, así como de otras regiones de Italia. Esta leyenda local situada en Kensington Church Street, que abrió sus puertas en 1983 de la mano de la apasionada chef Sally Clarke, se ha convertido en un firme favorito tanto para los críticos profesionales como para los gourmets aficionados.
