Best Family Style Restaurants in Watchung

We were seated right away and away from the main dining area where there were graduation celebrations happening, which we were happy about, so we could have conversations and be heard. Our server was knowledgable and checked on us quite often. I was only dismayed with the prices- had we chosen the family style dinner offer, we would have probably fared better- pasta entrees at $23- to me, seemed bit too high. Overall, we enjoyed our time there, and might come back another time.

LouCas is my local go-to restaurant. The food is always delicious, the portions are always generous, and service is consistently attentive. During my latest visit I had the mango calamari and, as my entree, perfectly cooked halibut over a shrimp and lobster risotto, both from the specials menu. Service was excellent, as always - friendly, well-informed, and well-timed. One of my favorite parts of the LouCas experience is when the server brings a sampling of their desserts to the table on a tray. It's hard to resist!
